Shimane Prefecture

黒曜石こくようせきは、長野ながの県けんや北海道ほっかいどうの山やまや、島根県しまねけんの隠岐おきの島しまなどで取とれました。

Obsidian was obtained in the mountains of Nagano Prefecture and Hokkaido, on Oki Island in Shimane Prefecture, and elsewhere.

島根県しまねけんの荒神谷遺跡こうじんだにいせきでは、一九八四年せんきゅうひゃくはちじゅうよんねんに、三百五十さんびゃくごじゅう八本はっぽんの銅剣どうけんが見みつかりました。

At the Kōjindani site in Shimane Prefecture, 358 bronze swords were found in 1984.

同おなじ島根県しまねけんの加茂岩倉遺跡かもいわくらいせきでは、一九九六年せんきゅうひゃくきゅうじゅうろくねんに、三十九さんじゅうきゅう個この銅鐸どうたくが見みつかりました。

At the Kamo-Iwakura site, also in Shimane Prefecture, 39 dōtaku were found in 1996.
