SuGoiSu す語彙す
Awesome vocabulary. Learn Japanese through Japan's own history and myths: the Jōmon and Yayoi periods, the gods of the Kojiki, and every word, kanji and grammar point you need to read about them.
The name
Our address, sugoisu.com, is すごいっす (sugoissu): what friends, teammates and coworkers say for すごいです, "that's amazing!" The っす is a shortened です, relaxed but still polite.
Split it into syllables and it reads the same from either end: su · goi · su, す語彙す, with goi, vocabulary, right in the middle. That is our logo: two す holding up 語彙. It also hides すごい語彙, "awesome vocabulary".
