十握剣: Totsuka sword, ten-fist blade

伊邪那岐いざなぎは、十握剣とつかのつるぎで火ひの神かみカグツチの首くびを斬きった。

Izanagi cut off the head of the fire god Kagutsuchi with the Totsuka sword.

アマテラスが、スサノオの十拳剣とつかのつるぎという剣けんをかみ砕くだくと、三人さんにんの女神めがみが生うまれました。

When Amaterasu chewed up Susanoo's sword, called the Totsuka-no-tsurugi, three goddesses were born.

スサノオが、十拳剣とつかのつるぎをぬいてヤマタノオロチを切きると、川かわの水みずは赤あかく染そまったといいます。

It is said that when Susanoo drew his sword, the Totsuka-no-tsurugi, and cut down Yamata no Orochi, the river water turned red.
