One day the two swapped tools, but neither caught anything, and Hoori lost his brother’s fishhook in the sea.

三年さんねんたったある日ひ、ホオリは、針はりのことを思い出おもいだしました。

One day, after three years, Hoori remembered the hook.

戦局せんきょくは日ひごとに厳きびしくなった。

The war situation grew harsher by the day.
