シオツチ: Shiotsuchi, the god of the tides who helped Hoori

シオツチは、「この舟ふねで、海うみの神かみワタツミの宮殿きゅうでんへ行いきなさい」と教おしえました。

Shiotsuchi told him, “Go in this boat to the palace of Watatsumi, the god of the sea.”

ホオリが海辺うみべで泣ないていると、シオツチという神かみが来きて、かごの舟ふねを作つくってくれました。

While Hoori was weeping on the shore, a god named Shiotsuchi came and made him a basket boat.
