銅矛: bronze hoko

青銅器せいどうきには、銅剣どうけん、銅矛どうほこ、銅戈どうか、銅鏡どうきょう、銅鐸どうたくなどがあります。

Bronze ware includes bronze swords, bronze spears, bronze halberds, bronze mirrors, and bronze bells.

銅剣どうけんや銅矛どうほこは、もとは武器ぶきでしたが、日本にほんではしだいに大おおきくなって、まつりの道具どうぐになりました。

Bronze swords and spears were originally weapons, but in Japan they gradually became larger and turned into tools for ceremonies.

次つぎの年としには、近ちかくから、銅鐸どうたく六ろっ個こと銅矛どうほこ十六じゅうろっ本ぽんも見みつかりました。

The next year, six dōtaku and sixteen bronze spears were also found nearby.
