九州きゅうしゅうにあったという九州説きゅうしゅうせつと、近畿地方きんきちほうにあったという近畿説きんきせつがあります。

There is the Kyushu theory, which says it was in Kyushu, and the Kinki theory, which says it was in the Kinki region.
