なか・うち・あたる

Alone it is なか: 中に入る（なかにはいる）. ちゅう in compounds and for "in the middle of": 中国（ちゅうごく）, 勉強中（べんきょうちゅう）. じゅう means "throughout": 一日中（いちにちじゅう）.
