〜が好き: to like ...

Says that you like a thing, with the liked thing marked by が.

Thing が好きです (opposite: 嫌い). Also が上手/下手, が分かる, が欲しい take が for the object, not を. Degree: 大好き (love), あまり好きじゃない. Mistake: 好きを.

Examples

私わたしは音楽おんがくが好すきです。

I like music.

弟おとうとは野菜やさいが嫌きらいです。

My younger brother dislikes vegetables.
