〜くありません: is not (polite, i-adjective)

Polite negative of an い-adjective: is not ~.

Drop い, add くありません (高くありません). Same as 高くないです, which is a bit more casual. Exception: いい becomes よくありません. Do not use じゃありません with い-adjectives.
