N4 · 01 Potential, ability & wanting
Casual speech often drops ら from the potential form of ichidan verbs, so 食べられる becomes 食べれる.
Only for ichidan verbs (and 来られる→来れる) in the potential meaning. Very common in speech, but still treated as non-standard in writing, tests and formal speech. Passive and honorific 〜られる keep their ら. Godan verbs are not affected (読める is already standard).
Examples

この辛さなら、私でも食べれるよ。
If it is this spicy, even I can eat it.
