Noun or verb plain form + まで. Marks an unexpected extreme: 子供にまで笑われた (even the children laughed at me). Contrast with さえ (even; stronger focus on one item). まで is also "until".

Examples

友達ともだちだけでなく、先生せんせいにまで注意ちゅういされた。

Not only my friend, but even the teacher scolded me.

忙いそがしくて、食事しょくじをする時間じかんまで削けずった。

I was so busy that I even cut my meal time.
