A polite indirect request, hoping the listener will do something.

Verb te-form + もらえると + ありがたい / うれしい / 助かる. Soft and often used at work. Polite: 〜ていただけるとありがたいです. Do not use with an order tone.

資料しりょうを今日きょう中じゅうに送おくってもらえると助たすかります。

It would help if you could send the documents today.

もう少もうすこし静しずかにしてもらえるとありがたいのですが。

I would be grateful if you could be a bit quieter.
