〜てもらいたい: I would like you to

States what you want someone to do for you.

Verb te-form + もらいたい. Similar to 〜てほしい but slightly more formal. Polite form: 〜ていただきたい. Use に for the other person. Be careful: it sounds demanding to a superior.

Examples

この件けんは、あなたに担当たんとうしてもらいたい。

I would like you to take charge of this matter.

明日あしたまでに、返事へんじをもらいたいです。

I would like to receive your reply by tomorrow.
