N3 · 07 Appearance, hearsay & certainty
Says you are certain that something is true or will happen.
Noun or plain form + に決まっている. Spoken and strong, so it can sound rude. It shows personal certainty, not proof. Stronger than 〜はずだ. The 〜 before it is plain form (na-adj and noun without だ).
