〜ものか: no way; as if I would

Strongly denies something, with emotion.

Plain form + ものか (casual: もんか). Said with a falling tone, it means 'absolutely not'. Often with 誰が, 二度と, 絶対. Rather rough and emotional; avoid with superiors. Similar to 〜わけがない.

Examples

あんな店みせ、二度にどと行いくものか。

I will never go to a shop like that again.

誰だれがそんな話はなしを信しんじるもんか。

As if anyone would believe such a story!
