Says that two things happen together or change together, or that someone does something with another person.
Noun + とともに, or verb dictionary form + とともに. Meaning 1: together with a person. Meaning 2: as one changes, so does the other (年を取るとともに). Meaning 3: both at the same time. Written; close to 〜と一緒に and 〜につれて.
