Makes an adjective for something that has the unpleasant feel of X.

Noun/verb stem + がましい (恩着せがましい, 差し出がましい, 未練がましい). A limited set with a negative meaning. A common polite phrase: 差し出がましいようですが ("I may be presumptuous").

Examples

差し出さしでがましいようですが、一言ひとこと申し上もうしあげます。

It may be presumptuous of me, but let me say one thing.

彼かれの恩おん着きせがましい態度たいどが気に入きにいらない。

I don't like his attitude of making a favor of everything.
