Used in polite speech to show thanks or apology for troubling someone in a certain situation.

Plain form + ところを. Common set phrases: お忙しいところを, お休みのところを. Another use is "just when ..., (something happened to the person)": 見つかるところを.

Examples

お忙おいそがしいところをお越おこしいただき、ありがとうございます。

Thank you for coming in spite of your busy schedule.

食事しょくじ中ちゅうのところを失礼しつれいします。

Excuse me for interrupting your meal.
