Says that something is scheduled or planned.

Dictionary form or noun の + 予定だ. Refers to a concrete plan or schedule, more objective than つもり. Past: 〜予定だった ("was supposed to"). Also a noun: 予定がある.

Examples

来週らいしゅう、友達ともだちと会あう予定よていです。

I plan to meet a friend next week.

飛行機ひこうきは十時じゅうじに着つく予定よていだ。

The plane is scheduled to arrive at ten.
