Plain form + そうだ (noun: だそうだ). Tense stays in the plain form before. Cannot conjugate to negative. Often with によると / で.

Examples

天気予報てんきよほうによると、明日あしたは雨あめだそうだ。

According to the forecast, it will rain tomorrow.

彼かれは来月らいげつ結婚けっこんするそうです。

I hear he is getting married next month.
