〜ながら: while doing

Two actions happen at the same time.

Verb stem + ながら. Same subject; the main action is the second verb. Can mean 'although': 知りながら. No tense on the first verb.

Examples

音楽おんがくを聞ききながら勉強べんきょうする。

I study while listening to music.

歩あるきながら話はなしましょう。

Let's talk while walking.
