Humble verb for 言う.

Polite form: 申します. Introductions: 〜と申します. 申し上げる is the more humble form for speaking to a superior. Only for yourself or your group.

Examples

私わたしは田中たなかと申もうします。

My name is Tanaka.

そのことは先生せんせいに申もうしました。

I told the teacher about that.
