AもBも: both A and B; neither A nor B

Put も after each of two nouns to say "both" (positive) or "neither" (with a negative).

AもBも + positive = both A and B. AもBも + negative = neither A nor B: 私も弟も行きません. Keeps に and で: 学校にも家にも. Compare single も (also) and AとB (A and B).

Examples

私わたしも弟おとうとも学生がくせいです。

Both my younger brother and I are students.

朝あさも夜よるも勉強べんきょうします。

I study both in the morning and at night.
