N3 · 11 Honorific & humble language

Humble verb for 行く and 来る.

Polite form: 参ります. Used for your own movement toward the listener or your side. Does not elevate the listener. Also means 'be defeated / troubled' (参った).

Examples

明日あしたの朝あさ、そちらに参まいります。

I'll come over to you tomorrow morning.

お届とどけに参まいりました。

I have come to deliver it.
