Te-form of an i-adjective: links adjectives or gives a reason.

Drop い and add くて. いい→よくて. Joins two descriptions: 安くておいしい. Can express cause: 寒くて眠れない.

Examples

安やすくておいしい店みせを探さがしている。

I'm looking for a cheap, tasty restaurant.

この部屋へやは広ひろくて明あかるい。

This room is spacious and bright.
