Casual way to wonder aloud or ask oneself.

Plain form + かな. Masculine/neutral, informal. Feminine counterpart is かしら. Asking someone directly with かな is a soft question.

Examples

明日あしたは雨あめが降ふるかな。

I wonder if it will rain.

これでいいのかな。

I wonder if this is okay.
