Gives an extreme example ("even") or a casual suggestion ("or something").

N でも = even N, or お茶でも (tea or something). 誰でも = anyone. Sentence-initial でも = but. Not the same as ても.

Examples

子供こどもでもできます。

Even a child can do it.

お茶おちゃでも飲のみませんか。

Shall we have tea or something?
