Literary or stoic conjecture, a stiff version of でしょう/だろう.

Noun/na-adjective + であろう; verb plain form + であろう. Seen in essays and in dignified characters. Past: であっただろう. Also 〜であろうと "even if it is ...".

Examples

それは正ただしい選択せんたくであろう。

That is probably the right choice.

彼かれはきっと成功せいこうするであろう。

He will surely succeed.
